The variety is a winter type and was created at the Cereal Research Institute in Szeged. It is intended for food use, in particular for the production of pasta and flour.

As part of the breeding work, grain quality was assessed, including semolina yield, pigment content, vitreousness, as well as gluten quantity and quality indicators.
