The wheat variety «Novatsiia» belongs to the spring durum wheat crop. In a number of documents and register entries, this variety is also referred to as «Novatsiia MV». The variety is intended for grain use.

The plant belongs to the semi-intensive development type. The variety possesses a high level of lodging resistance and is also characterized by high homeostaticity and the ability to stably realize its biological potential under variable vegetation conditions. In breeding programs, the variety is often used as a reference sample.
