The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group, plants have a medium-low height. Morphologically characterized by a compact spike with black awns. The variety shows high resistance to lodging and abiotic stresses, including drought, which prevents premature grain ripening.

The plant adapts well to various soil types, including clay and loamy soils. The produce has excellent protein content and high gluten quality. The variety is oriented towards the climatic conditions of Central and Southern Italy.
