The variety is spring-type and characterized by an average yield of 3.5 t/ha with a potential of up to 4.3–4.6 t/ha. Externally, plants of this variety show a greater similarity to durum wheat than traditional forms of spelt.

Produce of the variety is distinguished by high grain hardness indices, exceeding those of durum wheat, as well as good pasta-making properties and an increased content of carotenoid pigments in the flour.
