The SP ATHS ALBJUWEL variety is a winter form of emmer intended for use as an ancient grain crop in baking. In terms of agronomic indicators, including resistance to diseases and lodging, the variety is comparable to ancient spelt varieties.
Yield is 40–50 dt/ha. The grain is distinguished by increased hardness and a crude protein content from 15% to 24%. Like other emmer varieties, it requires a dehusking process after harvest.
The variety is the result of breeding work involving the screening of genetic material. The technological properties of the grain ensure good kernel yield, comparable to that of spelt, and baking qualities acceptable for this grain crop species.

A single variety may be registered in different countries under different names. All records are consolidated into one profile based on the breeder's code—an internal number that is identical for the variety across all registries.
The primary name shown is the one under which the variety is registered in the largest number of jurisdictions. Search finds the variety by any of its names.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
