Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a spring form of the crop. The plant reaches a height of approximately 119 cm and has an awned spike with a characteristic velvety coating during the milk-ripe stage. The variety possesses high tillering capacity and resistance to fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and Septoria.

The grain is characterized by a high content of protein, gluten, vitamins B1, B6, E, and fiber. The variety is intended for extensive cultivation under organic farming conditions. After threshing, the grain remains in husks, which requires the use of special equipment for dehulling.

Research shows that the variety possesses specific kinetic parameters for nitrate uptake and nitrogen use efficiency, making it a promising subject for breeding under changing climate conditions.
