The variety is intended for the production of pasta. It possesses a high level of pigments, which provides a "yellow index" during processing, and low oxidative activity, which contributes to maintaining the color of the finished product. The variety was widely distributed in the Mediterranean region, in particular in Italy and Greece.

Morphological parameters of the grain include a length of approximately 7.02 mm, a width of 2.66 mm, and a thickness of 2.86 mm, with a thousand kernel weight of approximately 39.54 g. At present, the variety has been withdrawn from commercial circulation and included in lists for delisting according to EU regulatory documents.
