The Amedea variety is part of the Triumph group. The plant reaches a height of 45–60 cm and forms a dense, goblet-shaped bud in shades of purple, violet, or pink-purple, which retains its shape for a long time.

The variety is mid-season flowering and is suitable for cultivation in the open field, as well as for forcing. The cooling period at 9 °C is about 13 weeks, and the forcing period is about 23 days. The flower stems are notable for their strength, and cut flowers last for up to 10–15 days.

The plant is characterized as low-maintenance and possesses high winter hardiness (zone 3).
