The Beauty Queen tulip variety is classified as a single early tulip. Its cup-shaped flowers have a salmon or orange-pink color, often with pink hues. The plant reaches a height of 30–50 cm and has a distinct fragrance.
The variety has a strong peduncle that is resistant to wind and rain, which prevents lodging. The early flowering period allows it to be used in flower beds, borders, containers, as well as for cut flowers and forcing from January–February. The variety is a mutation of the Apricot Beauty variety.
