The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. The flowers have a goblet shape and a bright pink color; the petal edges are decorated with a dense needle-like fringe, which can be lighter than the main background. Leaves are straight, grey-green. The height of the plant depending on conditions ranges from 37 to 60 cm.
Flowering occurs in the period from April to May. The plant possesses winter hardiness (zone 3–4), is suitable for use in flower beds, container cultivation, and cutting, as well as for forcing. Cut flowers are distinguished by good keeping quality.
