The variety belongs to the multi-flowering tulip group. From 3 to 7 buds usually develop on one stem. Plant height is 46–50 cm.

The flowers are yellow with red streaks in the form of "flames". The variety is late-blooming and flowers in late spring. Used for decorative planting in flower beds, borders, and for cutting.
