The variety belongs to the group of double early tulips. The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm and forms large flowers with a diameter of 5–12 cm, consisting of approximately 30 petals, which resemble peonies or roses when opened. The petal color is dark red with a white or cream border along the edge.
