Variety description

The variety belongs to the parrot tulip class and is a double form. The flower is large, reaching 10–20 cm in diameter, and possesses the bizarrely jagged, wavy petals characteristic of the group, which resemble feathers.

The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm and flowers in April–May. The flower color is bicolored: red or crimson streaks and stripes are set against a yellow background.

Due to heavy buds, the flower stems may require protection from wind. The variety is intended for landscape design and is suitable for cutting; it prefers sunny areas with well-drained soil of neutral or slightly alkaline reaction.
