The variety belongs to the Kaufmanniana tulip group (Tulipa kaufmanniana). The flowers have a cream-white color with red streaks and a yellow base. In sunny weather, the petals open almost completely, giving the flower the shape of a water lily.

The plant is compact, reaching a height of 20–25 cm. The foliage often has a striped or mottled color. The variety is early-flowering, with the flowering period occurring in March–April.

The plant is suitable for naturalization in soil. Due to its small size, the variety is intended for planting in rock gardens, containers, borders, and the foreground of flower beds.
