The variety belongs to the parrot tulip group and flowers in the second half of May. The plant reaches a height of 45 to 70 cm. Large flowers can reach 10–20 cm in diameter when fully open.

The petals have a wavy, fringed shape, resembling the plumage of a parrot. The coloration is a combination of yellow, red, and green colors. The plant's flower stalks may sometimes lack sufficient strength to support the large buds.

The variety is intended for use in landscaping, creating flower beds and borders, mass plantings, and for cut flowers.
