The variety belongs to the group of double early tulips. Its flower is characterized by the presence of double layers of petals; the bud length is from 5 to 5.5 cm. The coloration of the petals is of a deep red or dark red tone.

The plant possesses strong traits and withstands periods of drought and short-term frosts well. Sunny locations or partial shade with well-drained soils are recommended for planting.

The variety is used in garden landscaping to create accent groups, as well as a cut flower crop for floral compositions.
