The Hatsuzakura variety is a diploid descendant of the Purissima tulip. The plant reaches a height of about 50 cm and has dark green foliage. The flowering period is mid-season.

The flower is large in size and has an elongated shape. The color of the petals is cream-white with a lilac tint and a delicate purple-pink border; the base of the flower is white. The variety is used for decorative purposes and is suitable for growing in flower beds and containers.
