Morphological traits include a plant height in the range of 30–50 cm and coloration described as red with a cherry tint and a creamy-pink base. There are discrepancies in sources regarding the flower type: the variety is classified both as a double peony-flowered and as a Triumph group tulip.

The variety is intended for forcing for spring holidays and for use in landscape design. The plant has a strong peduncle and high resistance to adverse weather conditions, such as frosts, rain, and wind. The flowering period in open ground occurs from April to early May.
