The Kung Fu tulip belongs to the Triumph group and is characterized by a mid-season flowering period, occurring from April to early May. Plant height usually varies from 38 to 50 cm, in some cases reaching 60 cm. The leaves are green and have a broadly lanceolate shape.

The flower has a goblet shape. The petal color varies from cherry-red to reddish-lilac, with a characteristic light margin of white, cream, or silver shade along the edge. The variety has a strong stem, resistant to lodging, and is widely used in landscape design and for cutting.
