The Limousine tulip variety belongs to the early double tulip group. The flowers are large, double, with a diameter of 7.5 to 10 cm, bright yellow, sometimes with greenish accents on the outer side of the petals. The foliage is upright, and the stems are strong and stable.

The plant height ranges from 30 to 50 cm. The variety is early-flowering and is characterized by resistance to wind and lodging. It is suitable for cultivation in open field, use as a cut flower crop, and for forcing.
