The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips; some sources classify it as a double fringed type. The flowers are characterized by a peony-like or double shape with pronounced needle-like fringe along the edges of the petals.

The petal color varies from saturated red and dark red to carmine red and cherry tones. The plant height ranges from 30 to 60 cm depending on growing conditions and soil type.

The variety is mid- or late-flowering and is suitable for winter forcing. The plant is used for decorative landscaping of flower beds, container growing, and as a cut flower crop. Requires well-drained soils resistant to moisture stagnation.
