The Lingerie tulip variety belongs to the class of fringed tulips. The plant is medium-sized, reaching a height of about 40–60 cm. It has single flowers with a characteristic lacy fringe on the petal edges.

The petal coloration is bicolored, combining creamy-yellow or ivory tones with a pink border. The leaves are narrow, green in color. The plant has strong, upright stems.

The variety is late-flowering; the flowering period occurs in May. Suitable for forcing; the recommended cooling period is about 18 weeks at a temperature of 9 °C, with the start of forcing possible from December 20. Used in gardening and professional floristry.
