The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. The flowers have a cup-shaped form and a saturated dark red color with a possible yellow tint in the center. Along the edges of the petals, there is a dense, deeply incised needle-like fringe. The leaves are dark green, with a whitish bloom and dense texture.

The plant reaches a height of 40–45 cm and has a strong peduncle. The variety is mid-season flowering and is suitable for forcing in substrate or water. The cooling period at 9 °C is about 15 weeks, the forcing time is 22 days, with an early start date of January 10. The crop is used in landscape design and for cut flowers.
