Maureen Double belongs to the double late tulip group. The plant forms a large, double, cup-shaped flower 8–10 cm in height and 8–10 cm in diameter. The petals are white with greenish streaks. Leaves are broad, lanceolate, and gray-green in color.

Plant height is usually 40–50 cm, sometimes reaching 65 cm. The variety is late-flowering, with the flowering period occurring in April–May. It has strong peduncles. Suitable for cultivation in sunny areas or partial shade in loose, well-drained soils; suitable for forcing.
