The variety belongs to the Greigii tulip group and reaches a height of 12–30 cm. The flowers have a cup shape, and when fully open, their diameter is up to 10 cm. The petal color is white-cream or yellow with distinct red-pink stripes; the base of the flower is bronze or yellow.
A distinctive feature of the variety is the rich green foliage with characteristic purple or brown spots and stripes. The plant blooms in late March – early April, possesses fragrance, and has the ability to naturalize in the open field.
The variety is low-maintenance, however, it does not tolerate waterlogging. It is suitable for cultivation in rock gardens, containers, and border plantings.
