The Pink Sound tulip variety has large ovoid flowers. The petal color varies from soft pink to peach-pink with brighter cherry-pink or purple edges. The plant reaches a height of 40–60 cm and possesses strong, sturdy peduncles resistant to wind and lodging.

The plant belongs to the mid-season group with a flowering period in April-May. The foliage is green or gray-green in shade. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, is suitable for cutting, mass plantings, and container gardening, and is capable of naturalization.
