Variety description

The variety belongs to the Darwin Hybrid group and was obtained by crossing Darwin tulips with Fosteriana tulips. The flowers are large, goblet-shaped, and deep pink, sometimes with lighter petal edges. The bud height reaches 8–12 cm with a diameter of 8–12 cm when open; a delicate fragrance is present.

The plant has strong, straight stems 40 to 70 cm in height. Flowering occurs in April–May. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to diseases, including tulip breaking virus, as well as high resistance to wind and rain.

This tulip is a versatile variety suitable for flower beds, borders, landscape gardening, and is also used for commercial cut flower production and forcing.
