The variety is a representative of the Greigii tulip group. The plant is characterized by sturdy, short flower stalks and reaches a height of approximately 25–30 cm. A distinctive feature is the decorative striped or mottled leaves characteristic of this group.
The variety belongs to botanical hybrids and is a perennial when planted in sunny areas. Due to its compact size, the plant is intended for planting in the foreground of flower beds, as well as for placement in containers, pots, and balcony boxes.
