The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. The flowers have a characteristic 'needle-like' fringe on the petal edges and a solid red-dark purple or dark pink color. The flower length is approximately 6–6.5 cm, and the plant itself is classified as medium height.

It belongs to mid-early varieties; flowering occurs mid-season. The plant possesses strong, upright stems providing resistance to weather conditions. The variety is suitable for forcing, including the 9°C temperature regime, and is also suitable for landscaping flower beds, borders, and cut flowers.
