The variety is a sport (mutation) of the Tête-à-Tête tulip and is classified in the botanical tulip group. The flowers are characterized by double form and the presence of yellow shades; the variety is multi-flowering, forming several flowers from one bulb.

The plant is characterized by its compact habit, with a height of about 15 cm. Due to its characteristics, the variety is suitable for cultivation in rock gardens, stone gardens, containers, on terraces and for planting on lawns.
