The variety is classified as a simple late tulip; it is also found as a representative of the Lefeber hybrid group. The height of the flower stalk is from 60 to 120 cm. Large flowers up to 13.5 cm high have a lily-like shape with pointed, dense petals that can curl outward.

The flower color is salmon-pink or carmine-pink with an orange tint; the base of the flower is yellow with a greenish tint. The foliage has indistinct anthocyanin spots that disappear after flowering. Flowering occurs in late April — May.

The plant is undemanding, hardy, and well-suited for cutting, landscaping, and forcing. It prefers sunny areas with neutral or slightly alkaline, well-drained soil.
