The plant belongs to the group of botanical tulips (Tulipa humilis) and is distinguished by its compact size, reaching a height of 10 to 20 cm. The flowers are double, have a spherical shape and a burgundy-red color with characteristic greenish streaks on the outer petals.

The variety is mid-season flowering; the flowering period occurs in April-May. The plant possesses high winter hardiness, corresponding to USDA zone 3a. Due to its short stature and specific structure, the variety is not used for cut flowers and is recommended primarily for the decorative design of borders and rock gardens.
