Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of early-flowering double tulips. The plant reaches a height of 35 to 45 cm. The large cup-shaped flowers have a goblet height of 6–7 cm and a diameter of up to 10 cm, visually resembling peonies.

The color of the petals is purple, lilac-violet or deep cherry-violet; when fully opened, a golden center may appear inside the bud. The variety is characterized by frost resistance and is suitable for use as a cut flower.

When forcing in a greenhouse, work can begin from January 1 with a cooling period of 15 weeks at a temperature of 9 °C. Flowering in open ground occurs in the second half of April.
