The variety was developed in Spain during breeding work aimed at the conservation and improvement of elm genetic resources. The parental components for this genotype were forms R2 and S32.

At present, detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics of the variety are not available in open sources. Breeding work within the specialized program is conducted with the goal of identifying genotypes possessing resistance to Dutch elm disease, Ophiostoma novo-ulmi.
