The variety is a complex hybrid obtained by crossing Vaccinium ashei, highbush blueberry, and wild southern blueberry. The bush is upright, vigorous, reaching a height of 1.2 to 2.5 m. The plant is ornamental due to pinkish flowers in spring, bright autumn foliage color, and the unusual color of the berries.

Berries are medium-sized (1.2–1.7 cm in diameter), firm, and change color from light green to bright pink as they ripen. The taste of the berries is sweet, mild, with a floral aroma and a lemon note. The variety is a mid-late ripening type (late July – early September), with a yield of approximately 3–4 kg per bush.

The plant is self-fertile, but the presence of pollinator varieties increases productivity. The variety is demanding of sunlight, prefers acidic drained soils, and needs protection from strong winds. In temperate climates, winter covering may be required due to genetic traits inherited from southern species.
