The variety is a vigorous upright bush 1.2 to 3 meters in height with reddish-brown shoots. The leaves are lanceolate in shape with a glossy surface, changing color in the autumn to yellow, orange, and burgundy shades. The flowers are bell-shaped and white-pink in color.

The fruits are of medium size, weighing about 1.5–2 g, and ripen in mid-late or late periods from late July to September. The color of the berries changes to bright pink upon ripening; the flesh is distinguished by juiciness, firmness, and a sweet taste with a floral aroma. The yield is from 2.2 to 4 kg per bush.

The plant is a hexaploid and possesses winter hardiness within USDA zones 5–9 (down to –29...–34 °C). The variety is self-fertile, but cross-pollination contributes to an increase in fruit quality. The crop is characterized by high ornamental value and versatile use of the berries.
