The variety is a semi-highbush blueberry, in the development of which the species Vaccinium brittonii was used. The plant is characterized by good winter hardiness, is adapted to the climatic conditions of Finland, and is included in the genetic resources bank collection.

The variety has a multi-purpose use and can be utilized both as a fruit crop and as an ornamental shrub in garden compositions. Due to its adaptability to the Finnish climate, it is often recommended for use in landscaping in combination with other varieties.
