The variety forms a semi-erect medium-height rosette with large leaves that have a dense structure and a characteristic "wind" arrangement. The leaves show a strong tendency to form "spoons," which is a typical shape for this species.

The produce has an intense aroma and a sweetish aftertaste. The variety is characterized by a high proportion of marketable yield at harvest. In breeding work, Juwahit is considered a commercial diploid variety.
