Variety description

The variety is an upright shrub with a height and width of about 0.75 m, having a rounded shape. The main ornamental value lies in the change of foliage shades: young leaves have a bright pink color, which upon maturation turns into grey-cream variegated tones, maintaining a pink undertone until winter.

Flowering begins in July–August, when small lilac-purple flowers appear on the plant, gathered in spike-like inflorescences. The variety is conditionally winter-hardy; at temperatures below -10°C, it requires cover and protection from cold winds. It prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils.
