Professional catalogs mention the Veronica «Eyecatcher Dark Purple» variety, which belongs to the «Midi» series and represents a compact plant form. Publications also contain Veronica varieties with similar marketing designations in their names.

The name «Eyecatcher» is applied to a Papaver orientale variety distinguished by large orange-red flowers with dark spots. There are also Geranium varieties («Elworthy Eyecatcher») and the ornamental shrub Hebe «Eyecatcher», characterized by variegated foliage.
