Variety description

The plant forms a bushy habit 45 to 80 cm in height. The leaves are glossy, dark green, and narrowly oval or lanceolate in shape. The flowers are collected in dense, narrow spike-shaped inflorescences of lilac, purple-lilac, or pink color.

Flowering lasts from June to September; repeat flowering is possible after pruning the flower stalks. The variety is winter-hardy (USDA zone 3–4) and resistant to diseases and pests. It prefers sunny locations or partial shade and moderately moist, well-drained soils. It is used in mixed borders, containers, and for cut flowers.
