The plant is a winter crop with an annual or biennial development cycle. Stem height can reach 1.5 meters, while the variety has a low susceptibility to lodging. Leaves and stems are densely pubescent.
The variety is distinguished by rapid rooting and the ability to form significant biomass. It exhibits resistance to cold, frost, and drought conditions. In agricultural production, it is used for improving soil structure, weed suppression, and nitrogen fixation. It is recommended for sowing both in pure stands and in mixtures with cereal crops.
On international markets, the variety may appear under the name «Patagonia INTA».
