Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant possesses a twining stem and semi-erect growth habit, forming a dense cover. The variety was bred via selection from the Namoi variety with the goal of improving vegetative growth, and is distinguished by earlier and more uniform flowering.

The crop exhibits moderate drought tolerance and is adapted to various soil types, including sandy and heavy soils. The variety is winter hardy, however, its winter survival may be lower than that of highly specialized varieties.

The produce is characterized by a high crude protein content with relatively low palatability for animals. The seeds are toxic to livestock, therefore grazing should be discontinued before pod formation begins.
