Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is spreading and reaches a height of up to 1.5 meters. The variety is characterized by abundant foliage and high tillering capacity. It possesses good winter survival, which allows it to be used as a wintering catch crop.

It is used as a green manure to improve soil structure, suppress weeds, and prevent erosion, as well as a forage crop for green fodder and silage production. It is a valuable predecessor in crop rotation before corn and root crops and is a component of the Landsberg mixture.

Agrotechnical requirements include the use of companion crops, such as winter rye or wheat, to provide support for the stems. The variety prefers light sandy soils with an adequate level of moisture and is sensitive to soil acidity and waterlogging.
