The variety is late-maturing. Its seeds are distinguished by increased resistance to pod shattering. The content of cyanogenic glycosides is 0.65%.
The variety is sensitive to Ascochyta blight and highly susceptible to grey mold when grown in conditions of high biomass in humid and cool zones.
Used as a forage crop for green mass, hay, silage, and grain production, as well as a green manure crop for improving soil fertility. It has been researched as a protein source in swine diets.
