The variety is intended for hay, silage, livestock grazing, and improving soil fertility. It matures 10–20 days earlier than the Capello and Namoi varieties, which allows it to be grown in regions with a short growing season. The plant possesses good winter hardiness and high initial growth vigor.

The seeds of the variety are soft, possess high germination, and are not prone to shattering at maturity. For forage purposes, mowing before pod formation is recommended due to seed toxicity. Agrotechnology involves a seeding rate of 15 to 35 kg/ha; livestock grazing is recommended to start after the formation of 15 nodes.
