The variety Ardthirtyeight (breeding designation ARD 38) was obtained in 2010 as a result of a mutation of the Arrafifteen variety. It belongs to the mid-season varieties; in California conditions, ripening occurs in August.
The plant forms clusters of medium size and medium density. The berries have an elongated shape, yellow-green skin, and flesh of a similar color. The taste is sweet with a neutral aroma; the flesh is characterized by moderate density and a crisp consistency.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption. High berry density ensures good suitability for long-term storage and transportation.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
