The variety is a medium-vigor plant with a late ripening period; the harvest takes place from late September to October. Leaves are medium-sized, rounded, reticulate-wrinkled, with the lower surface covered in bristles. Berries are small, dark blue, and protected by a thick skin.

The plant is cultivated in high-mountain conditions at an altitude of 850–1850 meters above sea level. The variety withstands frosts down to –15...–22°C, but is characterized as susceptible to diseases.

The grapes are used in winemaking. Wines made from it possess a saturated color, high acidity, and potential for long aging.
