Under the name Black Magic in international practice, the variety Kodryanka is most often meant. This is a table grape of extra-early maturity; the period from bud break to berry maturity is 110–118 days. The bushes are characterized by great vigor.

The clusters are large, cylindrical-conical, medium-dense, weighing from 400 to 600 g, reaching 1.5 kg on vigorous formations. The berries are large, weighing 6–8 g, elongated or egg-shaped, dark purple in color with a thick bloom. The flesh is firm and crisp, the skin is edible, and the taste is simple and harmonious.

The variety possesses increased resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and frost resistance down to -22...-24°C. The transportability of the produce is good. In years unfavorable for flowering, a tendency toward berry shot (pea-sized berries) may be observed.
