The variety belongs to the Vitis vinifera species and is commercially known under the Melody trademark. Bushes are characterized by very high vigor and high fertility, requiring proper pruning for optimal yield quality.

The berries are black, medium to large in size, and have an elongated oval shape. The flesh is juicy and crunchy, with an intense, sweet taste and a sugar level of about 20 degrees Brix. The variety possesses good transportability and keeping quality, which allows it to be used for export shipments.
